So tired of conservative meaning “I need to look down on someone.”

I think it’s a byproduct of two things. First, the conservatives are united in needing someone to hate and fear. I don’t see any other philosophy in most of their policies and actions. Second, the rich have successfully sold the idea that wealth is a measure of a person’s worth. Poor people are therefore worth little in that world view.

Conservatives sell hate to create a united base, then peddle vodoo economics once they’ve got a platform. And the rich get richer, as planned.
