That is a fabulous record. As good as the band was at that point, I give a lot of credit to Flood for his production work. He made them sound…perfect.

I had heard stories from the producer of their first album that they were difficult to work with, but he chalked it up more to them being young and too stoned.

If you’re talking about Gish, I love the production on that record, it’s one of my favorites. Butch Vig.
