He can also distract the media from covering more substantive issues with his inane tweets. It’s like he throws a shiny object in the air, and they all go racing after it.
Because anything that comes out of his Twitter feed is seen as equally newsworthy. As I said, he is a master at manipulation. Part of being a deal maker is the art of telling people whatever they need to hear in order to get them to sign on the dotted line.
