This is exactly the problem, the fact that it’s too easy for us as white people to work through these political differences with Trump supporting family members because for most of us it’s not an existential threat. It’s sickening and I cannot look past those who are enabling & profiting off of normalizing this simply because they might be talented writers and actors. If anything it makes it so much worse that they obviously are perceptive enough to see the human tragedy in all that’s occurring right now and choose to sell the idea that none of it matters when compared to loving one’s family.

And I’m supposed to separate her personal opinions from her television show. Nope.
