My old standby electronic thermometer gave up the ghost, so I ran out and got a new Weber iGrill. It’s an electric thermometer with Bluetooth. I didn’t realize it when I bought it, but it doesn’t have any kind of display. It ONLY works through Bluetooth. So, I keep checking my iPhone to see how well the butt’s doing. It’s nearly done, all the way up to 197. It even graphs the temp for you, so you can see The Stall visually!

I often think how isolated sentences would look taken out of context—since that’s become the main form of public discourse lately….
