Holy shmokes!!! I’d love to visit but I don’t think it would be for my honeymoon. Interesting to say the least.

Now to be fair to him, it was in the middle of Perestroika and the Gorbachev era but yeah I wouldn’t want to go either. I always had some tropical paradise. I got very close to visiting Russia 10 years ago but no one else wanted to go. I was disappointed by that since the professor who would have headed the trip was the one that sparked my interest in both Russia and international relations.
