I don’t want to be too quibbley, but I’m not ready to give Roberts much credit. Our win was on procedural, not substantive, grounds, and he made sure to point out how they can fix it for their next attempt at fucking over Dreamers. I have a feeling that Roberts would set a pretty low bar as far as what would pass as a “reasoned” explanation.

Same here. Roberts’ position is basically this: “give me an excuse to fuck over immigrants that doesn’t make me look like an idiot for accepting it, and I’ll do it.”
