The article doesn’t say what then Senator Obama said, but they imply it must have been something positive towards Alinksy. However, that’s really not much … without some incendiary quote, it really doesn’t mean anything.

I guess they figure, being featured as a speaker on such a play is scandalous, not just attending … It does say “part 1” so maybe they have something they believe is more substantial?

He wasn’t a senator then — he was a first term state legislator, running for reelection in his South Side Chicago district.
