yeah, I guess that goes without saying. Strange thing: my wife and I drive from L.A. to San Antonio and Houston several times a year. We usually stop in El Paso, since it’s the halfway point on I-10. Anyway, El Paso is one of the safest cities in America, while literally two miles away, in Juarez, there exists the murder capital of the world. Unbelievable what’s currently happening in Mexico with the drug cartels. I haven’t seen stats, but it must be devastating their tourism industry, which was one of the country’s few economic bright spots.
