Yeah. Total bullshit and lets all chase this story for a week kind of thing.

Main damage: Obama called a presser about health care, answered all these q’s about hc, and all anyone talked about was the last question, which was about Gates.

As a result, the entire media has been baying about Gates.

Also as a result, now there won’t be any vote on HC until September. Surprise, surprise— eyes were off the birdie, and Congress is now OUT of session— leaving months for the Blue Dogs and Repubs and insurance companies to fear monger. They’re starting. Massive freak out emails originating from the fringe right are landing in seniors email boxes. I spent a shitload of time yesterday debunking one that’s now on 358,000 websites and counting.

Gates/Crowley= yes, they luv each other now. They’re having lunch soon. Really.

In other news: a blogger started a rumour that the Palins were divorcing. Sarah Palin’s spokesperson decided the best way to deal with this was to issue a press release, talk to the media, and post on SP’s facebook, thereby ensuring that the entire world now knows about the rumour.

Palin needs to fire Meg Stapleton.

I guess this is my news for now that is non-LGF.

Do we know why Obama bit on that question? Just an impulsive f’ up or bad tactical move? Weird, he’s nothing if not cautious. Glad love is in the air between the cop/professor. Does anyone think health care reform will ever get passed? I love Palin.
