pretty sure Texas is a shall issue state. the state has to come up with a damn good reason not to allow you to carry. Oregon is a 2 hour class and a background check and the state must give you the permit. My permit in OR was over the 300,000th issued in a state with maybe 3.5 million at the time. you sure there’s not a few more that that in Texas?

No, not sure. It seemed like it was about a quarter million a few years back so that sounds about right.
