I’m not trying to be offensive, just telling you what a drab-gray boring atheist would make of it. It’s not something that scares me. The only kind of religious experience that scares me is other people thinking they know the will of God (like thinking women should wear certain clothing) and then go out and try to inflict that on others.

Other than that, I know that the human mind is a funny place.

Oh, and I highly recommend the book Spook, for more on this, tangentially.
