Right. Why should the Democrats compromise on this issue? I mean you’ve got Republicans that find fault with Griswold and Eisenstadt let alone Roe v Wade. I have no problem with pro-life individuals deciding they’re Democrats if they want to be but I do have a problem with the Democrats compromising their principles to appease a belief that is a minority within their party.

I have a problem with saying Democrats would totally dominate by sacrificing the constitutional rights of women. Its like saying the Democrats would totally dominate if they’d just accept pro-segregation liberals. And they did, but it was the wrong thing to do to African-Americans.
