Really Trump to me is the ultimate example of the rich asshole who only gives a fuck about himself. I just don’t get how he’s become the working class’s hero. Then again, a lot of these working class whites especially have their own resentments that have nothing to do with economics that Trump exploited perfectly.

Well, really, it’s more the white people’s hero. Or even more specifically, the hero of people to whom being white is important. Looked at that way, it makes sense.
