Ron Paul is as much a Republican as Bernie is a Democrat.

Ron Paul is a member of the Republican Party.

I don’t see much difference in his positions over Paul Ryan for example. They both worship at the altar of Ayn Rand (as do many Republicans).

One difference between the GOP and the LP is the GOP is actually in a position to take a meataxe to government programmes, whilst the LP only talks about doing so.
