This just gets me wishing I could find an old Pentium/PentiumII laptop with 800x600 screen, built in cd & floppy, PCMCIA, at least 64mb ram, for cheap so I could put NextStep 3.3 on it for snickers. It was a neat OS in so many ways and yet so much was done differently from standard Unix “just because”.

But it’s still such a set of cool that it’s hard to come close all these years later. I’d love to play with it again.
