Wait…an ectopic pregnancy is not a reason for an abortion?

I knew a woman who wouldn’t even use birth control, and she had an ectopic pregnancy and had it ended to save her life, and while I’m sure it was devastating, it wasn’t because anybody blamed her for anything or made her feel guilty.

No, an ectopic pregnancy is when the egg is fertilized in the fallopian tubes and not in the womb, nor does it move to the womb. If it grows, it can burst through the tube and the woman can hemorrhage to death.

They go in and remove the fetus. Well it’s not a fetus even. But they have to. There’s nothing else to do in that situation.
