As a southerner who’s also lived in Boston, NYC and LA, all I can tell you is that some things are worse down there. I rarely hear the n-word used here in Cali, but it’s used quite “liberally” in the speech of many southerners I’ve known over the years…everyone from poor whites in trailer parks to upper class educated professionals.

Lol try growing up Black here. The experience will be quite different, I guarantee you.

Tbh, the use of the n-word isn’t really a good measure of much, afaic.
