Her post resonated with me because (and this may be wholly unintentional on your part), you occasionally enter some of these conversations with a very innocent tone.

Whereas the dings, which you do not need to defend in isolation, would imply that you have already formed an opinion on the question you are asking.

Just the perception. I may be misstating Silvergirl’s post, but that’s what it meant to me and I sort of agreed.
