That’s the second-best reason not to eat sauerkraut, the first being that it’s sauerkraut.

There are many things I ate a lot of as a kid that I don’t get to eat so much anymore, for one reason or another - mostly that my wife and kids don’t like ‘em - fried eggs, lamb’s kidneys stewed with mushrooms and sherry, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, turnips, parsnips, chili…

Sauerkraut is not one of them. I do NOT miss that shit.

I do like sauerkraut; I’m not too sure why, but I enjoy the taste. Of course, I also enjoyed liverwurst, something that most people find wholly revolting. My ex-wife once saw a block of it in the fridge, and not knowing what it was, asked me why there was cat food in there.
