It really worries me that Trump can do this well in a time of economic prosperity. I don’t know what to think will happen when the next economic downturn hits. Fascists like Trump take advantage of that shit. It has to be stopped.

They don’t need an actual downturn. In the fantasy world created by Fox and not really contradicted by the rest of the media, the stock market has been going down and unemployment has been going up for the last eight years. It’s just as good as a real recession—the rich are raking it in hand over fist, and the idiots will vote for the GOP to “turn things around”.
