It’s also done wonders for my depression. I mean I’m upset at the election results too obviously but I would have been despondent and my work would have suffered if not for the Lexapro. I mean I still can have tough days but I’m better now. I also don’t fret as much if something is missing. I know that 99% chance is that it wasn’t thrown out or the problem can be solved.

But you do still have appropriate responses to problems, since these drugs fix a problem without deadening appropriate emotional responses. I initially feared the drug would make me a zombie, but it makes me a better me by just stripping some shortcomings from my personality, and leaving the rest intact.
