Kevin Drum has a post at Mother Jones in which he says California should leave undercover video activists alone. He goes on to say that CA wouldn’t investigate or indict liberals who did the same things Daleiden did. Later in the post, he says he’s not a lawyer. Since he already knows he’s not a lawyer and probably knows very little about CA’s state laws, what was the purpose of his article? I would hope that anyone who violates the laws of any state or U.S. territory would be investigated, and if they’re indicted, they would be tried. I think Drum was trying to work Americans’ 1st Amendment right to free speech into his article but got lost along the way, leaving persons like myself shaking their heads.
