Once again, Josh Marshall writes an excellent piece, this time on Syria, and Trump’s sudden rush to ‘do something. There’s really nothing new to make getting rid of Assad easier, or more desirable, than it was a year ago.

What’s new is that Trump wants something amusing to do, and getting lots of people killed for no good result is exactly the kind of thing Trump gets his jollies from.
