It seemed to me that Trump sounded coherent in that video — he was making a consistent point that he wants to bring down China, and of course, his actions will also bring down the entire world economy, including our own. It wouldn’t be surprising if he were regurgitating Putin talking points. Putin can gain the power he wants only by destroying his competition.

Russia is a nation rich in natural resources and human intellect but through much of its history, especially the past 150 years, it has been cursed by dreadful government institutions, terrible economic policies, incompetent business organizations, and a totally corrupt social structure.
