It’s curious that Trump wouldn’t pay Giuliani, except of course it isn’t. In a rational world, Trump would understand that RG has more shit on him than virtually anyone. So I guess RG will get paid via pardon.

Trump has always screwed everyone who worked for him. He shafted contractors and businesses who fulfilled the terms of their contracts, because the only thing he and Trumpworld ever cared about was pulling one over on everyone else. It was his profit, and you weren’t allowed to take a penny more. Trump would engage in lawfare to reduce smaller businesses to nothing - because they couldn’t afford to fight Trumpworld.

Trump even fucked over his lawyers, even when they did their jobs competently.

Rudy’s a weird case, because Rudy has done a spectacularly awful job, but Trump screwing Rudy gives Rudy incentive to fight to get the money he wants or else spill the beans to avoid prison. Weird dynamics here, but nothing surprising. Trumpworld loyalty always flows to Trump and nothing goes the other way.
