Anyone remember the Jersey Turnpike up north back in the day? The sky was green and pink and all sorts of colors mother nature never intended.

I used to dread driving across the Goethals Bridge, because the toll gates were situated next to a refinery/holding facility and a slaughterhouse.

During the summer it was retch-inducing. Still not great some days, but worlds better than it used to be.
