King failed in so many ways to follow up the statements made by candidates. It seemed that the GOP couldn’t have found a more pliable personality to go along with their let’s-not-disagree-with-ourselves strategy. The group of them clearly were singing from the same hymnbook on what tonight was supposed to be about.
