Like winter camping…makes NO sense to me.

Did that a few times in the Boy Scouts. Nothing quite like waking up to snow on the ground and -4 temp the next morning. Though I remember well the one time we got to the camping grounds just after a big rain storm and cheated to get the main fire going.
