Same with my family. At least my mom. Texas was very good to my career, and I also found my husband there.
I still have some family there.
I have a bayhouse that was decimated by Ike and am still awaiting the insurance company’s decisions. I can’t wait to get back there for a few weeks this spring.

Texas has treated me well, also. Sorry about the house.
