My head is hurting from all the spinning going on…. This is the top post on /r/the_donald right now….

The meeting was a setup. The original intent was to entrap the Trump campaign. It failed. Nevertheless, the Obama administration used it as a pretext to use the American intelligence apparatus to spy on the Trump campaign, while pretending to be looking into Russian interference. Thus, the “Obama wiretapping” actually happened. This is confirmed, and probably illegal, but whatever. So the media is now literally reporting that a failed election-time Democrat plot IS PROOF of a Russian conspiracy. They’re doing this and basically praying nobody does a background check on the people who actually set the meeting up (because they’re directly tied to the Clintons, the Obama administration, and Fusion GPS)

So somehow the Democrats did all this so they could lose? But they didn’t think they would lose so why bother? But they did it for the wiretap to prove Russian conspiracy, which Obama did nothing about (according to Trump) because he thought Clinton was going to win. But maybe they knew he was going to win but did this to discredit him later, so he’d be impeached and Republicans would be disgraced. Oh yeah, that must be it. The long con. It’s brilliant. (/sarcasm)

It’s no wonder his approval ratings aren’t budging despite all of this. Nothing is going to change these people’s minds. Nothing.
