The thing that is amazing about this is they talk about this being a money grab for the pharmaceutical industry…except the vax is free.

They are paid by the purchasing government(s) for the vaccine, so it’s not like the manufacturers are taking it in the shorts here. However, they have waived patent enforcement for the duration of the pandemic, in the interest of ensuring sufficient supply, so at least in that area, they aren’t making as much money as they could.
