Not that a lawyer is going to be able to help this kid much. The Court made it unconstitutional to execute minors, so he can either spend the rest of his life in prison, or he can spend the rest of his life in prison. There is no other option.

Kyle Rittenhouse demonstrated what’s possible with lawyers and juries. With that said, that’s entirely not my point. My point is, I don’t want to be a fair-weather fan that complains about the idiocy of people who cooperate with the police when they’re people I like.
