N Y Times as expected putting the blame on Israel and only on Israel.

JERUSALEM — The Israeli military struck near a United Nations school in Gaza on Tuesday, killing at least 30 people among hundreds who had sought refuge at the school from the fighting in the beleaguered territory, the United Nations and hospital officials in Gaza said.

Gaza residents took refuge in a United Nations school as Israel’s offensive continued with artillery, helicopter and tank fire.

The United Nations and the hospital officials said those killed included men, women and children. The United Nations said that the Israeli army been given all the coordinates of United Nations facilities in Gaza, and that the schools and other facilities were all clearly marked. The number of those killed could not be immediately independently confirmed, and it was unclear whether the strike came from an Israeli tank or rocket or other artillery.
