I hope the majority of Egyptians realize that they were taught antisemitism so that it could be used as a tool against themselves. Journalists were the best friends to would-be revolutionaries at that point, and if the guys in power could get the masses to turn on the journalists, what a victory for the fascists.

Kind of like how ther right wing/Faux News works to turn people against the so-called “liberal media”. An uninformed populace is very pliable…
