On the 911 tapes, Zimmerman says that he is FOLLOWING Martin. The 911 operator tells Zimmerman that they “don’t need you to do that”. Zimmerman never says he stopped following Martin. It would appear that he continued to follow Martin. I hope this undercuts the claim of self-defense.

Since the right wing is “tough on crime”, they’d be all in favor of prosecuting Zimmerman, right?

This is the ugly side of it: bad enough regarding the shooting, but I am not sure which is the bigger scandal, the shooting or how the police blithely refused to deal with it in a serious manner.
