My doctor does not take Medicaid patients. He explained that it costs more to process the paperwork than he receives from the government for treatment of patients. In other words, it is a huge expense for physicians and nothing to reimburse them.

Also the paperwork for Medicaid treatments is much more complicated than the process for the other insurance companies.
