I don’t think anybody lives under any illusion that if black folks were marching around in the streets of Ferguson, openly brandishing firearms and talking about “protecting” reporters who support the protesters, that it would be long before one or more of them were shot by “scared” cops and the rest hauled off for a laundry list of charges.

Well, something similar to just that did happen in Dallas, and they call themselves the Huey P. Newton Gun Club.

While white open carry groups have given them a wide berth, they have been careful to state their support of the Newton’s right to carry.

But that’s Texas, where love of rifles has apparently overshadowed fear of black people.
