Just listened to the first lecture. It is kind of long, and not always to the point, but - Wow!

The lecturer gives three signs to be concerned about. He used Nazi Germany examples, but there are others.
1. Going to a one party system.
2. Cessation of state monopoly of violence. IE incorporation of militias into power structure.
3. Use of a crisis to suspend civil liberties.

Snyder noted that the US as a moral political example is gone as of the 2016 election. And suspects that Anti-Americanism will probably decrease as nobody will have time to care anymore.

He closed his lecture noting that the Millennial generation will either solve this issue, or will be forgotten as irrelevant.
