It’s another day and another think piece about how Trump voters are faring… and whether Trump’s going to help these people.

Let me give the short answer: No.

The longer answer: Hell fucking no.

The short answer is no. @realDonaldTrump won’t help thoss places. They’re going to be far worse off thanks to Trump policies.

These people won’t see benefits but will feel the burdens, esp. as safety net programs they rely upon get gutted by GOP.

Nothing Trump or the GOP is doing will help these people. Cutting the safety net harms these people more than anything else. Giving massive tax breaks funded by gutting the safety net wont help these people. Cutting environmental protection wont help these people; they’ll be hard hit because they’re downstream from the mines that have closed and have no jobs or way to move away from the pollution Trump’s EPA is enabling.
