You know what I find most interesting about the Moore support speech?

Trump always couches his support for people he needs, who he must know are evil or corrupt, in the same terms.

Look at Moore and Putin. They are good because they say they are good, that they have done no wrong. It’s all “They said it, I believe them, and that settles it.”

It seems consistent across the board, too. His kids, his son-in-law, his supporters, his White House staff, all of them.

“They said it, I believe them, and that settles it. And that should be good enough for all of you.”

It’s a pathological, consistent “tell” on his part. It’s all he’s got. And people buy it.
