Is Metaxas’ Luther bio as fucked up as his Bonhoeffer bio? His Bonhoeffer bio is a piece of shit. (If you’re going to read a Bonhoeffer bio, just spring for the Eberhard Bethge version. Yeah, it’s a doorstop. Yeah, it’s not salacious. But it also doesn’t try to make Bonhoeffer into an American Evangelical Christian. Bonhoeffer was a German theologian and he didn’t buy into the Evangelical crazy.)

Metaxas blocked me on Twitter. before the election after I repeatedly called him out on a fake Bonhoeffer quote which seemed to imply that people should vote for Trump. I’m not the only one who called him out; every one of us got blocked.

Metaxas is buddy buddy with fake historian David Barton and they’re both wretched liars.
