Sigh. I didn’t want to jump in about it, but the Diet Coke hate hurts - especially the the factually wrong assertions.

Myth: Diet Coke has intense amounts of caffeine, worse than coffee. For the record, an ounce of Diet Coke contains 4 mg of caffeine. Coffee has 3-7 times as much caffeine per ounce, from 12-30 mg.

For the record, I drink about three liters of Diet Coke a day, am over 70, and my cardiologist says I am the healthiest patient she has. Contrary to Dolt 45’s athletic example, in my golf world I am currently the best professional disc golfer in the Legends division, over the age of 70.

So, please, I understand there are reasons to not want to drink Diet Coke, but don’t make it out to be what it’s not. Among other reasons, that’s not what this blog is about.

Yeah, it tastes like mix of Coke and a chemistry experiment. Coke Zero is much better.
