Just got down reviewing the latest Rudy G. meltdown on ABC this morning.

I know there’s at least one lawyer who posts regularly here. My question is this: isn’t Giuliani just basically confessing that Trump is guilty of everything he’s been accused of at this point?

I’m not a lawyer, but I’m not stupid, either. Every time Rudy opens his mouth, it seems like it’s “Yeah, Don did that. No biggie.” I watched Maddow’s interview with other lawyers and prosecutors the other day, but WTF am I missing here? Is there a “Confess to our sins because our base refuses to believe in reality”?

His base doesn’t care about anything he does because they filter everything through the RW prism. They will justify any action he takes because they are all true believers. They literally do not care if he actually conspired with Russia, laundered money for the Russian mob, or shot someone on 5th avenue. As long as the RW media support him, they will continue to worship him.

I cannot tell you how many times my brother has denied that Trump was mocking the disabled reporter; what he sees is very different from what any objective observer would see.
