The number of electoral votes is determined by the number of representatives and senators a state has. So if you increase the number of representatives, you increase the number of electors. Most new representatives would go to big states, diluting the power of small states in the electoral college.

That will be furthered by many of the younger people leaving the no-jobs states, red states with small lifeless cities, for the states with the more progressive cities where the businesses and jobs want to be too.
