You’ll take the Oxford comma from my cold, dead hands. With modern proportional fonts, double space after a full stop isn’t a point to be argued, it is just wrong. Etc.

I get confused when I’m using my computer versus using my typewriter. Two spaces? One? Screw it and just start a new line for each sentence?

My former book publisher put out a style rule saying the Oxford comma should not be used. That resulted in every editor and copyeditor in the company saying “no.”
