NOTE: Remember Secretary Napolitano’s press release:

Let me be very clear: we monitor the risks of violent extremism taking root here in the United States. We don’t have the luxury of focusing our efforts on one group; we must protect the country from terrorism whether foreign or homegrown, and regardless of the ideology that motivates its violence.

Secretary Napolitano’s comment about DHS’s focus on terrorism “regardless of ideology” is one that we have yet to see evinced. A search through the DHS website reveals much attention to “right wing” concerns, but it will be interesting to see if anything is revealed about this fiasco:

Query: Will the new DHS address the recruitment of “disgruntled vets” who oppose the war and who cater to liberal terrorists like William Ayers? I would wait with bated breath, but this seems to be potentially dangerous for several reasons.
