re: #73 allegro

At my last garage sale a couple came in driving a big, new model SUV. They looked around for a while before paying $2 for a lead crystal ashtray. My friend who was there helping and I dropped our jaws when they came back later saying there was a teeny chip at the bottom of it, wanting to return it and get their $2 back! I did it saying “gee, I didn’t know I needed a no return policy for a freaking garage sale!”

Me, I would have handed them back their $2 and told them to keep the ashtray!
