[Link: www.mammothfossilcompany.com…]Personally, I wouldn’t recommend them. Limestone, sandstone, shale and other rocks that fossils are typically found in are mostly soft and porous. Not the greatest countertop material, at least not in areas that get a lot of cooking action.
Backsplashes might be a better choice.
Black Onaping Suevite (impact material from a meteorite hit) from Onaping Falls, Ontario Canada makes great countertop material.
