There is no excuse for this. None.

I’m guessing Trump’s acceptance speech will either be:

a) over the top crazy that anyone who isn’t so died in the wool Republican will say “nope”

or

b) so staged/telepromptered that it’ll completely lack energy

In either case, that’s probably when the media says “enough of this assclown”. Basically, they are looking for a moment that will give them cover.
